Our Purpose
Several years ago, Ernestine Shaw was watching a Feed the Children documentary on the impoverished communities of Kentucky. These communities' industry was coal mining and when coal was no longer needed, the communities had no income. Since December 1994, we have been collecting winter clothing, hygiene products, toys, and food for just a few of these communities. All of these items are donated throughout the year, the food is bought with monetary donations so each family gets the same food items in their food box. During the first weekend of December we take these donations to Cawood and Kings Creek, Kentucky.
We began working to help the residents of this area then just as we are working now: asking our friends, families, church members, co-workers, and others to help with this mission.

We now have a storage building. It is located off of Gee Road in Calhoun, Georgia. It is a small mobile home. If you have any donations, please let us know.
